Mystery

So you have a postcard postmarked in the early 1900's. It was from a foreign country to another foreign place. Yet you have the postcard in your hand. And you are in the USA.

How did that 100 year old card survive all those years?

And how did it ever find its way to you?

Who saved it?

What was its purpose?

All these questions prompt the imagination to go wild.

I submit, that mental state is  large part of the enjoyment derived from the hobby.
